Booking Terms and Conditions
All rates are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are per person. Rates do not include alcoholic beverages or any personal purchases. Group rates and special interest tours are available. (Special Services: special arrangements can be made for hospitality desks at hotels, group briefings, music, flowers, wine, etc. A group is considered to be 10 or more passengers).
Tour Conductors
Day Tours: One tour conductor will travel free of charge with a minimum of 10 paying passengers. Overnight Tours: One tour conductor will stay free of charge with a minimum of 20 paying passengers.
Foreign language guides are available at extra cost.
Payment, Deposit And Cancellation Policy
We require an immediate deposit of 25% of total due within fourteen days of confirmation date to secure booking; otherwise it will be automatically cancelled. Full payment due 45 days prior to arrival. Full refund minus US$ 60 handling fees will be made on cancellations received 60 days prior to scheduled trip.
Cancellations 60 to 45 days in advance 50% refund will be given. For cancellation 45 days or less prior to arrival no refund will be given. No refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing trips or tours for any reason whatsoever.
Land cost is quoted as a package and credits are not given for services not used. A fee of US$ 15.00 will be assessed for every change made to tour package after confirmation has been given. All cancellations must be in writing. Once travel has commenced, no refunds will be given (this includes no shows). Refunds will be paid to customer’s agent, unless instructed otherwise.
Payments made by check must be negotiated prior to remittance.
Mayaland reserves the right to collect from clients if payment has not been received. Total of invoice value plus US$25.00 wire transfer cost from America or US$50.00 from Europe , must be received. There is a service fee for payments by credit card.
